Dinah Washington (29 août 1924 - 14 décembre 1963) était une chanteuse américaine de blues, jazz et gospel. Dinah Washington est née à Tuscaloosa dans l'Alabama et a grandi à Chicago dans l'Illinois. Sa voix puissante et remplie d'émotion la fit surnommer Queen of the Blues (reine du blues). Ce coffret reprend les singles de Keynote, Decca et Mercury entre 1943 et 1953.
